Mr. Brian Minard MuMaw, age 81, of Woodstock, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2024, at The Landing of Winder.
Mr. Mumaw retired as the Chief Financial Officer of Chara Bank. He served the United States faithfully in the Army and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant. Brian was very athletic and enjoyed playing tennis with his family and friends. He will be remembered best as a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
Mr. Mumaw was preceded in death by his parents; Minard Mumaw and Dorothy Price Mumaw.
Mr. Mumaw is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Carol Redfern Mumaw of Woodstock; son, William Bradley Mumaw of Runaway, TX; daughter, Jennifer (Chad) Schmiedt of Watkinsville; brothers, Curtis Paul (Ruth Ann) Mumaw of NC and William Platt Mumaw of Gross Pointe Farm, MI; and two grandchildren, Elodie Schmiedt and Eli Weber Schmiedt both of Watkinsville.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
