Mr. Billy Jack Jones, Sr., age 83, of Winder, Georgia went to heaven on August 31, 2017. Mr. Jones was preceded by his wife, Bonnie Whitley Jones and son, Mitchell Gill Jones. He was a native of Barrow County, born on July 5, 1934 to Paul and Elizabeth Milsapps Jones, who preceded him in death. Mr. Jones was a retiree of Complete Auto Transit, where he served as a Gate and Yard Attendant. He attended The Church at Winder.
Surviving are Daughter, Melissa Benoit of Winder, Georgia, Son, Billy Jones, Jr. of Monroe, Georgia Son-in-law, Tim Roberts of Monroe, Georgia, Grandson, Hugo Jones of Monroe, Georgia, Step-mother, Martha Jones of Statham, Siblings, Calvin Bentley and Terry Bentley both of Statham, Georgia.
A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Pennington officiating. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 P. M. until 2:00 P. M. at the funeral home.
