Mr. Barry R. McDaniel, age 53, of Jefferson, formerly of Winder, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at his residence.
Mr. McDaniel was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Statham. He loved the Lord and God’s word dearly. Barry was devoted to his family as a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Barry knew how to be a friend to others and would help anybody that was in need. He was funny, quick witted, and always enjoyed making others laugh. Barry enjoyed playing music. He was employed as a HVAC technician.
Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Randolph McDaniel and Frances Gail Lee McDaniel.
Mr. McDaniel is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Hollie Seay McDaniel of Jefferson; children, Brooklyn (Jonathan) Maxey of Hull, Clinton McDaniel of Athens, Mercy (Thomas) Meek of Winder, and Maggie McDaniel of Jefferson; sister, Tammy (Ken) Murphy of Winder; grandson, Easton Lewis of Hull; nephew, Caleb (Emily) Murphy of Statham; and niece, Bethany (Houston) Barber of Bethlehem.
The funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Barry McDaniel will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Conner officiating. Burial will follow the service at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Dacula. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday from 12:00 PM until the service hour at Carter Funeral Home.
