Ann Fleeman Wages

Mrs. Ann Wages, age 85, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

Mrs. Wages was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Auburn. She devoted her life to Jesus Christ in 1972 at Eastside Baptist Church in Winder. Ann was known for always having her nails well-manicured with bright pink nail polish. She will be remembered best as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mrs. Wages was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edwin Wages; parents, Benjamin Franklin "B.F." Fleeman and Nelle Patrick Fleeman; and grandson, Brandon Gray Shubert.

Mrs. Wages is survived by her daughter, Tracy Sorenson of Jefferson; brother, Tom (Dianne) Fleeman of Winder; granddaughter, Brittany (Taylor) Belflower of Jefferson; and two great grandchildren, Zella and Lana Belflower.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Auburn. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the service hour at Carter Funeral Home.
