Mr. Allen Denton Cooper, age 60, of Maysville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2024.
Mr. Cooper was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula. He was the former owner of Sears in Commerce and was currently employed as a truck driver with Folger Gas company in Jefferson. Allen’s larger than life personality would light up a room; he was a true joy to be around and enjoying making life fun for others. His favorite place to spend time was on his beloved cattle farm in Maysville.
Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his brother, Marty Cooper.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his beloved wife, Jill Easterling Cooper of Maysville; children, Brent (Katie) Cooper of Maysville and Alisha (Kyle) Salyer of Maysville; parents, Calvin and Ann Cooper of Maysville; siblings, Lavon (Dwight) Allen of Maysville and Clarice Cooper of Panama City Beach, FL; grandchildren, Remi Salyer of Maysville and soon-to-be, Delaney Salyer.
The funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Allen Cooper will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula with Rev. Richard Sims officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service in the Chapel of Hebron Baptist Church.
